VISIT ENGLEWOOD BEACH

Englewood Beach is the most popular beach out of all the beaches and gets crowded during the winter when the snow birds come down.

The beach is centrally located and is next to several restaurants and vacation rentals. There is a beautiful 900 ft. boardwalk that crosses over the beach vegetation.

Overall the beach and the waters are like the other nearby beaches, sandy, shelly and emerald waters.

FUN TIMES BEGIN AT ENGLEWOOD BEACH

This beach also offers many amenities including restroom facilities, showers, water stations, volleyball courts, basketball court, horseshoe pits, playground area, four small shelters with picnic table and grill, and three large pavilions, all of which contain picnic tables and charcoal grills.

You can rent the covered pavilions for birthday parties, picnics, and other special events.

You can also rent umbrellas, chairs, loungers and other beach gear from "The Beach Guy."

Fishing is allowed here but please respect others that are in the water or walking nearby. You only should be catching fish not people.

You can also walk the beach for miles in any direction as long as its below the high tide water line (for private property).

ENGLEWOOD BEACH WATER TEMPERATURES

The water temperature at Englewood's Beaches changes quite a bit depending on what time of year and recent weather events.

The summer water temperatures get warm or even hot. for many locals, its the best time of year to enjoy Englewood beach.

In the winter the water will get uncomfortably cold, but it usually only last a few months and the sun is still shining.

HOW'S THE WATER AT ENGLEWOOD BEACH?

Summertime water. Englewood Beach's water is pretty crystal clear during the summer months. The winds have lessened and the water temperature goes up. The water is usually calm, with only a few lapping waves.

Wintertime water. During the winter, Englewood Beach is usually wonderful or it can be wavy, cool and unclear. This all depends on the recent weather. If its been windy, then the water is a bit churned up. Still beautiful, but not summertime beautiful.

ENGLEWOOD HAS 3 OPTIONS TO PAY FOR PARKING
(COSTS 75 CENTS PER HOUR)

PAY AT A KIOSK

There are two (2) kiosks that you can use to pay for parking.

First, park your vehicle
Look down behind your vehicle and remember the space number.
Go to the kiosk and pay for the desired duration of your stay at that space number
Take receipt as proof of payment
No need to display receipt in your vehicle.

PAY USING "PARK MOBILE" APP

You can use the Park Mobile App to pay.

First, Download App and create an account and add your vehicle and payment method
Park your vehicle
Open the app and find Englewood Beach.
Click the "zone" (9050 or 9051) on the app
Enter the the space number located behind your vehicle.
Submit payment and you are done.

PURCHASE AN ANNUAL OR SEASONAL PARKING PASS

Annual costs: $53.50, 6 month costs: $37.45 and a 3 month pass costs $26.75
Passes can be purchased by mail or in-person and need to be affixed to the vehicle on the inside front windshield, passenger side, bottom corner
Parking passes may be purchased online here.
Parking passes are good for any county park including boat ramps.
