WHAT ENGLEWOOD, VENICE AND BOCA GRANDE BEACHES ARE OPEN OR CLOSED AFTER HURRICANE MILTON?
There has been plenty of destruction along the beaches, but most beaches have opened back up. Hurricane Helene and Milton moved so much sand that it has caused either terrible erosion in some places or mountains of sand. ​​

Effective March 6, 2026: Don Pedro Island State Park is open, including the island.
The dock and facilities are unavailable at this time.

Stump Pass Beach is open!! They have portable restrooms available and you can pay for parking using your phone.

The Harbor Drive access to Caspersen Beach Park washed out during the 2024 storm season. The restroom facilities, vehicle parking, and playground are closed until repairs can be made. The Park is currently open to pedestrian and bicycle access with no vehicle parking available. Access to the Park is from South Brohard Park or from the Venetian Waterway Park Trail located at the City of Venice Festival Grounds..
